Former Star Trek DS9 Actor goes back to Sci-Fi: Alexander Siddig to star in Primeval

Former Star Trek: Deep Space Nine actor Alexander Siddig has apparently been tapped to join ITV's Sci-Fi hit show Primeval.

Primeval is a British Sci-Fi series in the veins of Torchwood and Doctor Who and ITV is a rival network to the BBC. It will air in 2011.

Siddig will play the role of Phillip Burton, a scientist who becomes the new part-owner of the ARC. What is the ARC you ask me? It's the Anomaly Research Center. You can go here to read all about Primeval. [Nice Girls Watch TV] [SidCity]

The actor is no stranger to playing scientific characters, having played Doctor Julian Bashir in all 7 seasons of Star Trek: DS9.

It has been a long time since the actor has starred in a TV series and it will be good to see him back on the small screen. Are you guys looking forward to seeing more of Alexander Siddig?

Primeval airs in the US on both BBC America and SyFy

  1. Anyway, if you are a big fan of Shatner, then you must catch the final episode of the show, just watch Star Trek season 3 episode 24 online, it was the best season, one has ever seen.
